Hours before the arrest of the soccer player Dani Alves for a case of alleged sexual harassment,
his wife Joana Sanz had posted a message on social networks
supporting the former Barcelona player.
The player had gone to testify in the case that investigates whether there was a sexual assault on a woman committed at the Sutton nightclub, in the Catalan capital, on the night of December 30-31.

The winger was transferred to the Ciutat de la Justicia in Barcelona where he will go to court, according to the Spanish newspaper La Vanguardia.
Dani Alves had denied the case of abuse a few days ago.
In an interview with Spanish television, the Pumas de México player stated that he did not know the complainant.
"I was there, in that place, with more people enjoying themselves. Without invading the space of others. I'm very sorry, but
I don't know who that lady is
. I have never invaded someone's space without authorization," he claimed.

Sanz had expressed himself along the same lines, who in addition to being the player's wife has a career as a model.

I know who my husband is, I know how I met him,
I know how respectful he is because even when he was getting to know me he disrespected me," she declared.
"I have seen many times how women approach the private room, daring, to try something with my husband in my face. If they do it in my presence, I don't want to imagine when I'm not there," she accused.
Hours before the player's statement, Sanz uploaded a photo to Instagram where
the hands of both intertwined appear.

What is Dani Alves accused of?
It all started from the complaint filed by a woman against the Brazilian soccer player in a Barcelona court for alleged sexual assault.
According to what appears in the file,
Alves was accused of touching the intimate parts of the woman
, in an event that occurred at the Sutton nightclub in the Catalan capital, where they met on the night of December 30-31.
Thus, the head of the trial court number 15 in Barcelona began the investigation process for the alleged sexual assault after receiving the complaint that the woman filed with the Mossos d'Esquadra.
The complainant, who was with some friends partying at the aforementioned nightclub, told the Catalan police that
the Brazilian soccer player touched her under her underwear
, without her consent.

The Mossos d'Esquadra, who took a statement from the woman, although she did not formalize the complaint for sexual assault until January 2, a few days later.
After the woman filed the complaint for sexual assault,
Dani Alves returned to Mexico
to join the training sessions of the Pumas.
According to the police version, Alves and the complainant were dancing "in a very affectionate attitude, talking and laughing."

When Dani Alves and his friends left the club, the young woman begins to cry and assures that
