Dozens of terrorist attacks took place on the roads of Judea and Samaria since the morning hours • Many vehicles were damaged and two soldiers and a civilian were injured • "There is not a day without new casualties, the drive home has become a terrifying experience"

Terrorism on the roads of Judea and Samaria has not stopped for a moment in recent months, but it seems that today (Thursday) a new record was broken in the number of attacks.

Since the morning hours, and as of this writing, there have been more than 30 stone attacks, six Molotov cocktails and a series of other incidents of burning tire barriers on major traffic routes.

On road 505 between Topuh and Ariel, Jewish vehicles were stoned one after another.

Vehicles were damaged, and one resident was slightly injured.

Also near the settlement of Yakir, Israeli vehicles were stoned, two busses passing by on the road were damaged.

Also in the village of Hawara, where there has been a significant jump in terrorist attacks in recent weeks, four incidents took place since the morning hours that included throwing stones and burning tires.

The terror did not pass over Alon road and road 60 either, which together recorded close to ten attacks since the morning hours.

"lawlessness"

The terrorism that has become a bloody routine in recent months has today reached a new peak and the residents of Judea and Samaria are already desperate for some kind of change in the area that the new government will bring.

Ahadot Rom, a resident of Neve Tsuf who was hit by a stone attack this morning, described the shocking event: "I was driving on the road from Modi'in back home to Neve Tsuf," said Rom.

"Near the intersection of the entrance to the village of Deir Abu Meshal, a car slowed down next to me with two Arabs who came out of the windows and threw large stones at my car. I immediately accelerated, and one stone was enough to hit the trash can."

"It has already become a routine, we are the gate of families on the street and already three of them have been caught in a stone attack on the road recently. There is no other way to describe this situation than lawlessness. I expect the government to act strongly and show the Arabs that it does not pay to carry out attacks, but to be honest I find it hard to believe that the situation will change," Rom described the feelings.

Moshe Manchovski, a resident of Yitzhar who also witnessed the stone attack this morning, said that "I was driving near the town of Einav, and suddenly I see three masked Arabs who came out of hiding near the road. They stood near the railing and threw large stones at the vehicle that was driving in front of me. One of the stones hit In the corner of the windshield and it almost penetrated in. If it had been a few centimeters to the side, we would have been somewhere else, not on it."

fighting back

Alongside those who accelerated their car and fled the scene with bodily and property damage, there were those who decided to stop and fight back.

One of them is Amitzur ben Yosef who traveled this morning with his friend to Kiryat Arba and was caught in a stone attack: "On the way down from the Tzur vineyards to Kiryat Arba, we noticed a masked Arab standing on the side of the road and pelting Jewish vehicles passing by on the road with stones," he said.

"We immediately stopped the vehicle and started lighting after him. He got scared and ran into one of the nearby houses. We continued to guard the axis until the army arrived, and we also located a hive of fireworks in the area that was aimed at the axis. Most outrageously, the army did not agree to carry out any searches in order to catch the terrorist And he didn't even refer to the beehive of fireworks we located," described Ben Yosef angrily.

Ben Yosef added, "Driving on the roads has already become a frightening experience. Every day we hear about new attacks and residents who have been injured. People think twice about leaving the settlement, but the media does not report. Someone must wake up, because right now it is only a matter of time before they are here God forbid they get murdered," he warned.

The "Zero Terrorist Incidents" headquarters, which is behind the protests in Judea and Samaria against the attacks, responded: "The bloody reality in which dozens of terrorist attacks occur every day on the roads of Judea and Samaria is only getting worse. The security system treats these attacks with equanimity, and in the media, not a single incident is reported."

According to them, "These attacks are a direct result of the lack of a root-caused treatment of terrorism. Each time the IDF carries out localized and minor operations that bring peace for a short period of time, until terrorism returns with even more force.

We call on the Israeli government to come to its senses and launch a comprehensive and radical operation against the terrorist infrastructure, until the goal of zero terrorist incidents is achieved.

These attacks are not destiny, it is possible and necessary."
