A mother gives birth on a train to Strasbourg

On board a train traveling between Paris and Strasbourg, a pregnant passenger felt strong contractions. The train stopped for almost 1h20 so that she could give birth.

Felix was born on Sunday January 29 in the morning, in a train connecting Paris to Strasbourg, as reported by France Bleu and the Republican Lorrain.

Her mother felt contractions in the middle of the journey, forcing the train to stop for nearly 120 minutes at the Lorraine TGV station so that the passenger could give birth.

The firefighters quickly arrived on the spot around 8 am, to drive the young mother and her boy to the maternity hospital in Metz Nancy.

The train then continued on its way to Germany.
