A month after the tragic fire that claimed the lives of 10 people at 12 chemin des Barques, in Vaulx-en-Velin (Rhône), the hard drug resale point on this street was dismantled by anti-narcotics police, announced the departmental security of the Rhône.
After months of surveillance, investigators were able to intercept two vehicles loaded with 28.5 kilos of heroin on Sunday on a go fast returning from the Netherlands by the A31 motorway, which connects Metz to Dijon.

In addition to the three arrests carried out on this occasion, four other individuals were arrested, including three with the support of the RAID.
A handgun and ammunition were also found during the searches, along with just under two kilos of additional heroin and cocaine.
For a total of more than 30 kilos of heroin therefore and a total merchandise estimated at more than 1.3 million euros for resale.
The place of resale known to drug addicts even in the neighboring departments was brewing up to 20,000 euros in turnover per day, according to the police.
Surveillance began last spring on the basis of information that clarified the role of two individuals in the traffic.
Over the weeks, the investigators were able to identify the network at work and locate the places where the narcotics were stored.
The seven individuals were placed in police custody and subsequently presented to the Lyon prosecutor's office, which opened a judicial investigation.
