David Hodak, one of Israel's top lawyers, made a strong statement against the legal reform, was examined by the Investigations and Intelligence Division of the police • The apparent reason for the investigation: incitement to violence

The police recommended today (Thursday) to the prosecutor's office to approve the opening of a criminal investigation against the lawyer David Hodak who said yesterday, among other things, "I will not hesitate to use live fire".

During all hours of the day, Khodak's words were examined by the Investigations and Intelligence Division of the police. If the prosecutor's office approves the opening of the investigation, the new evidence regarding it will be incitement to violence.

As I recall, as part of the Bar Association conference held yesterday in Eilat, Attorney David Hodak, one of Israel's top lawyers, severely attacked the legal reform, saying: "I will not live in a dictatorship, even if it means fighting with weapons."

"Everyone is shocked"

"I didn't believe that something like this would happen in Israel, but I also didn't believe that a Jew would assassinate a Jewish prime minister. After I came out of the shock, I felt a tremendous sense of rage," said Attorney Hodak, adding: "I belong to the generation of the Yom Kippur War, I asked myself what Those who gave their lives in wars would say about this shocking turn.

I see what is happening at the level of betrayal of the Jewish nation and the Jewish home.

"I don't understand where Benjamin Netanyahu and Rival Levin get the courage to even make such a proposal. I have decided that I will not live one day under a dictatorship, and if I have to fight for it - I will fight. The government does not understand what mud it is getting into. People are ready to fight with weapons and everyone They are shocked if you say such a thing. If I have to go there and if they drag me there, that's what I will do. I will not leave the country and I will not live in a dictatorship. They are going after it with all their might and we will oppose it with all our might, no matter what."
