Many firefighters were deployed on Friday evening to fight a major fire which ignited a factory producing polyester parts in Bazeilles, near Sedan (Ardennes), the prefecture calling on the population to avoid the area and keep the windows closed.

to take readings on the toxicity of the fumes
", underlining the presence of "
a lot of acetone and paints
" in this company which produces polyester parts by molding.
Called for a fire that broke out at 4:55 p.m., they said they had found a 1600 m2 site "
totally ablaze
".
