Dozens of Eyal Golan fans were disappointed to discover dozens of fines affixed to their car windows at the end of a performance held earlier this week at the Sports Hall in Haifa.

The reports were given to the show goers , in the absence of available parking in the area, they had to park their car along the road.
The decision was made after the mayor spoke with the Haifa police chief, Sen. Haim Ezard, who confirmed that the fined vehicles did not cause a real disturbance to traffic or human life.
Following the Mayor's demand to cancel reports, the State Attorney's Office announced: "The Department for Guiding Prosecutors Certified by the Attorney General at the State Attorney's Office clarifies to the Haifa Municipality that the Mayor is not authorized to order the cancellation of parking reports.
The notice was sent to the legal office of the Haifa municipality following the directive of the mayor of Haifa to comprehensively cancel all the fine notices imposed on car owners who parked illegally near the place of Eyal Golan's recent appearance in the city.
In the appeal of Attorney Rinat Hanoch from the prosecutors guidance department, it is stated that Mayor Kalish's guidance is inconsistent with the provisions of the law, which require that any request to cancel a fine notice be forwarded to the municipal prosecutor for consideration.

The Haifa Municipality stated: The Mayor's directive regarding the cancellation of parking tickets during the performance held on Thursday at the Sports Hall in Romma is valid only for those who parked along the road, with the approval of the police officers present at the scene.
The final decision to cancel the tickets is in the hands of the municipal prosecutor who will examine each report The mayor and the CEO will advise the plaintiff to consider the exceptional circumstances.
In any case, and as stated in the notice we issued on Thursday - reports given to drivers who parked wildly on public lawns and traffic islands - will not be canceled"
