In the city of Hasakah, the necessary preparations have begun to launch the second relief aid convoy, which was provided by civil, social and economic actors and charitable societies for those affected by the earthquake in the Syrian governorates.
The aid provided by the various activities, which is collected in the hall of the (Al-Baal) restaurant, includes various types of relief materials, such as winter clothes, medical materials, towels, sponges, mattresses, toilets, diapers for the elderly and children, and other materials.
The Governor of Al-Hasakah, Dr. Louay Sayoh, during his inspection of the preparations for the launch of the convoy, pointed out in a statement to reporters that the people of Al-Hasakah governorate, with their various official institutions and civil initiatives, and from the first moments of the devastating earthquake, they rushed to help their affected brothers with a sincere feeling, and today they are completing their relief efforts by preparing for a new aid convoy that will be launched to the Syrian governorates Affected people within forty-eight hours to confirm that the Syrian people are one, and that despite the difficult circumstances that Al-Hasakah governorate went through, it will remain generous towards other governorates to alleviate the suffering of those affected.
The Secretary of the Hasakah branch of the Arab Socialist Baath Party, Eng. Turki Aziz Hasan, indicated that the Hasakah governorate cooperates with its sisters the other Syrian governorates in one national body to provide various financial and in-kind assistance that would alleviate the suffering of our people affected by the earthquake, and contribute to extending a helping hand and assistance to them.
Al-Hasakah Governorate had launched the first convoy during the past week, and included various items of medicine and clothing for the families affected by the earthquake.
