Party and diplomatic delegations offer condolences to the earthquake victims at the Syrian Embassy in Hungary

Heads and representatives of diplomatic missions accredited to Hungary, in addition to local party and popular activities, continued to flock to the headquarters of the Syrian diplomatic mission in Budapest to offer condolences for the victims of the earthquake disaster in Syria.

The delegations affirmed their solidarity with the Syrian people and their standing by them to overcome the effects of this humanitarian catastrophe, stressing the need to quickly provide aid in all its forms to Syria, and to remove all obstacles that impede this, including the unilateral coercive measures imposed on it.

The delegations that visited the Syrian mission included ambassadors and representatives of the diplomatic missions of Russia, China, Cuba, the Philippines, Venezuela, Pakistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Tunisia, Malaysia, Egypt, Iraq, Croatia, Palestine, South Africa, Austria, Bulgaria, Algeria, Poland, the Czech Republic, the UAE, Brazil, Vietnam, Angola, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Romania, Laos and Yemen.

The head of the Hungarian Workers' Party, Dr. Thurmer Deula, and a representative of the Hungarian People's Democratic Movement visited the headquarters of the Syrian delegation to offer condolences for the earthquake victims.

The mission also received large numbers of the Syrian community and representatives of the Arab communities in Hungary, who expressed their deep condolences for the earthquake victims.

The community representatives denounced the US and European sanctions imposed on the Syrian people, calling for exerting the required pressure to lift them immediately.
