went viral and for good reason.
One activity has gained notoriety as “Netflix tagger”, with many online describing it as potentially
their “dream job”.
How to make money as a Netflix tagger?
The mission of a Netflix tagger is, neither more nor less,
to watch series and movies on the platform
and then
tag by genre and other descriptions
so that entrants can find the content they want more easily.

Rachel, 28
, was one of them.
Rachel estimates that she made about
$200 a month
as a tagger for Netflix and has
been doing her job
for over six months .
The woman is a digital marketing specialist from Leeds, UK, who discovered this job while surfing the net last year.
At the time, money was a bit tight, so he was immediately interested.

“'Do I get paid to watch Netflix?
I'm in!" she was blunt when she told
Mirror Money at the time.
The tagger job goes further and requires good writing.

After doing some research on the assignment, the 28-year-old discovered that there was actually quite a bit more to it than what was being shared on social media.
"When I looked at how to do it, you usually have to wait for openings on the Netflix website," he began his story.
“I kept checking her racing page regularly for a few weeks until I applied for a place,” the Brit continues.
And she muses aloud: "I'm sure there are tons of applicants, but they must have liked my
experience in content writing and digital marketing
."
The job includes writing the synopsis for the upcoming series and movies to be released.
After applying for the position, Rachel had to conduct a
video interview
, as well as complete some writing and testing assignments before she was finally offered the job
.
"It's not a job for everyone"
Rachel explained that most of her job is not just tagging genres for shows, but usually
writing the synopsis for upcoming series and movies to be released.
"As I've been writing content for a few years at my main job, it's easy, but
it's not a job for everyone
," he says.
“You need to know how to write succinctly.
I guess the best part is that it's unusual and cool, but it's also very hard to come by," she adds knowingly.

Beyond the pros, he doesn't consider it a "long-term" plan, as it's
"incredibly competitive"
and sometimes there's really "not much to do."
"It would be great to write for
TV or movie publications
, albeit as a side job in the future," he says, warning that you should be aware that there may be tax implications if you're earning a lot of money outside of your job.
