A medical lieutenant colonel of the Air Force and one of his collaborators were arrested, under house arrest, by the carabinieri on the basis of a precautionary custody order issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Bari. In addition to the 2 arrested, 7 suspects were ordered on obligation to submit to the Judicial Police and for 4 the prohibition to practice the profession for twelve months.
The disputed crimes are forgery in a public deed, illegal access to a computer system, illegal possession and dissemination of access codes to computer services.
According to the prosecution, the crimes were committed in Puglia and Veneto.
