A Vilsbiburger was sentenced to prison on Tuesday, March 28.
At least six times he had abused the daughters of his respective partners.
Ebersberg - "Your behavior cannot be excused by anything and cannot be explained in a comprehensible manner," Judge Frank Gellhaus addressed the defendant in his verdict on Tuesday.
The 56-year-old from Vilsbiburg (Landshut district) had to answer to the Ebersberg district court for the sexual abuse of wards and children.
For example, over a period of two years, he approached the 16 or 17-year-old daughter of his then girlfriend at least twice while they were watching television together at her home in Ebersberg.
Starting with stroking her thigh, he then grabbed her between the legs, in her pants and under her t-shirt.
The teenager had tried to avoid being touched, but only succeeded on both occasions when her mother called for food.
Child came to bed to cuddle
During his marriage to another woman, he also abused her daughter: the child, who was between nine and 13 years old at the time, occasionally crawled into the adults' bed to cuddle in the morning.
As soon as the mother left the room to make coffee, the accused took off his pants and let the child satisfy him, also holding the girl's hand so that she could not escape the situation.
The child could remember at least four incidents.
The statements of the two girls were read out in court: one of them had been crying and explained to the interrogator that she and her mother had once spoken to the accused about the incident.
He didn't deny it, he explained much more that "he wasn't so aware of it".
The second girl remembered that the Vilsbiburger once apologized to her - and then talked about her friend, who would be interested in such topics.
He tried to kill himself
Lines from a farewell letter that the 56-year-old had written to his mother were also read out.
He had tried to kill himself when the crimes came to light - his own daughter found him and called 911.
In court, the accused admitted everything.
However, he claimed: "I have no pedophile tendencies." He was simply too often alone with the children and suffered from the withdrawal of love from his respective partners.
It was spontaneous actions, "and the child went to bed with us".
Judge: "Reprehensible and incomprehensible"
"Inclinations are not punishable," Judge Gellhaus then explained to the accused.
"The actions concern the courts." However, the accused stuck to his statement that he was not a pedophile.
The judge commented that it was a weak excuse to compensate for the partner's lack of affection in this way.
"That is reprehensible and incomprehensible for the court." He sentenced the 56-year-old to two years and four months in prison.
Probation is only possible with a sentence of up to two years - "but it would not have been justifiable if you had left the courtroom today with a suspended sentence," said the judge.
