the investigations are already a good deal more advanced than officially known.

Accordingly, three young people are being specifically determined.

All three are male and are suspected of having killed the ten-year-old.

The girl had been dead for several hours when she was found.

Police spokeswoman Küffner does not want to comment on this information when asked.

However, she clearly denies one fact, namely that the three suspects have already been arrested: "There is no one in custody."

The St. Josef child and youth welfare center has several home groups – where do perpetrators and victims come from?

Neither do the police want to say at the moment in which part of the facility the ten-year-old girl was housed.

The St. Josef child and youth welfare center in Wunsiedel consists of several areas.

There are three curative education day groups in which children of very different ages are cared for.

There are also six groups of home children of different ages.

Three for young people to young adults, two of which are housed as residential groups outside of Wunsiedel.

There are also two mixed groups with young people and children from the age of two and three (group Elisabeth and group Regenbogen) and a group exclusively for children (group sunshine).

The ten-year-old could have been in all three groups.

Whether the alleged perpetrators and victims come from the same group or from different groups, whether the perpetrators were housed in the facility at all - all this is not yet known.
