The Lahav 433 cyber unit opened an investigation against a Jerusalem resident on suspicion of incitement to violence against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in responses to articles posted by the suspect on the website. On Tuesday, the suspect was detained at the unit's offices for questioning.
Among the threats written in the comments: "We will rebel against Netanyahu and his intended government and we will prepare the guillotine for their supporters," as well as: "Netanyahu, I promise you that within a few months at most you will be in the grave."

At the end of March, the Likud party filed a police complaint against Giora Chamitzer, who spoke out against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a left-wing demonstration. The Likud said at the time that it expected the police to act with full force against incitement and violence against the prime minister and elected officials.
Chamizer said in an interview he gave to Channel 12, saying, among other things: "Look at Wikipedia, look at how dictators are finished, this is how Bibi will end."
