In Poing, work has begun on the pump track facility and the new tennis court. According to the municipal administration, both should be completed by the end of July.
Poing – Now it's time to start with the construction of a new tennis court for TC Poing and a pump track facility with a jump line for everyone. The first earthworks have begun on the area between the building yard/fairground and the dam railway. According to the municipal administration, the tennis court and pump track should be ready by the end of July. Just in time for the summer holidays.
Poing: Pump track with its own jump track
Currently, the upper layer of humus is being removed over an area of about 2250 square meters (equivalent to the size of about three football fields), informs the town hall. The company Brandl GmbH from Neufraunhofen had submitted the most economical offer after a tender and was awarded the contract for the earthworks and drainage work. After completion of the archaeological investigations, which will be carried out after the humus removal, the actual construction project is to begin in mid-June, according to the statement from the municipality of Poing.

It goes on to say that tenders for the landscaping work on the pump track and the equipment with benches, picnic table as well as bicycle racks and waste bins are still ongoing. Foundations for a material container on the plant are planned,
Poing invests approx. half a million euros
Already in October, the planning office X3-Architekten from Markt Schwaben, commissioned by the municipality, had presented the preliminary planning of the pump track (the facility is about 1000 square meters in size, about one and a half football fields). The circular course will have a loop in the shape of an 8 and an additional jump track. The pump track will be paved.
For the construction of the entire facility (including the tennis court), the municipality of Poing has set aside financial resources of around half a million euros in the 2023 budget.
