Following the Israeli government's decision on a closure that will last at least three weeks, the league administration is following the line of excluding jobs without an audience, in the hope that it will allow football to continue to be played.
Director Erez Kalfon today (Sunday) submitted another request to the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Sports to include the Premier League and National League games in the exceptions that should be made as part of the government's decisions. Kalfon also spoke today with the teams playing in Europe this week (Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Champions League qualifiers, Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Beer Sheva in the Europa League qualifiers) and said: "You will make sure to win and advance to the next round and we will do everything so that you can play in Israel and abroad."
Kalfon has already discussed the matter with Prof. Itamar Grotto and informed him that the Israeli teams will play in the coming weeks in the European factories and they must hold the games, otherwise their activities will be harmed.
The administration believes that the teams playing in Europe will not be harmed.
