Sergio Aguero, the Manchester City striker is found positive for the Corona virus and will stand in the race to be fit for the huge game against Liverpool on 7 February.

Aguero went into isolation after being in contact with a verified patient and missed the Blues' last three games against Brighton, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa.

Although he was in isolation and after developing symptoms today (Thursday) the veteran Argentine announced that his test came out as stated positive and he will have to wait until he can return to the pitches.

"I had some symptoms and I follow the doctor's instructions until I recover. Watch them all," the actor wrote.

Aguero will now have to isolate himself for another ten days until his next test and will need to be negative of course before joining his teammates in training.

This news is a severe blow to City who are now also suffering from the injuries of Kevin de Bruyne and Kyle Walker.

Before the game against Liverpool, City will face Chelantham Town in the fourth round of the English Cup this coming Saturday and then face West Bromwich Albion, Sheffield United and Burnley in the Premier League.
