Bayer Leverkusen's crisis is worsening.
Against SC Freiburg, the team of coach Peter lost 1: 2 (0: 0) in the Bundesliga, it was the fifth competitive game in a row without a win.
Ermedin Demirović (50th minute) and the outstanding Lucas Höler (61st) scored for Freiburg, Leon Bailey only managed to catch up (70th).
In the table, Leverkusen slipped to sixth place, while fourth place in the Champions League is still five points short of it.
Freiburg moves closer to Bayer on three points.
Bosz changed goalkeepers for the game.
The regular substitute keeper Niklas Lomb had blundered in the Bundesliga and Europa League.
Because regular goalkeeper Lukas Hradecky, like others, is still missing in the injured squad of Leverkusen, Lennart Grill was allowed to play.
The 22-year-old was signed with great ambitions from Kaiserslautern in the summer.
In Kaiserslautern, Grill was the last regular goalkeeper brought out by the legendary goalkeeper coach Gerry Ehrmann.
Grill did not experience a really exciting Bundesliga debut for the time being.
In the first round there was an almost drowsy half-hour sequence.
Bayer tried to play the Freiburg tired with pass relay.
Freiburg in turn entrenched itself in its own half and only waited for the onset of fatigue of the Leverkusen troubled by European Cup trips.
Waiting in Freiburg pays off
If things did get dangerous, a striker hit the ball incorrectly or a defender still had a part of his body in between.
There were three shots on goal in the first round, two saved by Freiburg goalkeeper Florian Müller (11th, 22nd), a grill (45th).
The Freiburg tactics seemed to pay off in the second round: After winning the ball in the center circle, Höler pulled two opponents away on the right edge of the penalty area.
Demirovic took his cross into the back of the penalty area directly, Grill had no chance (50th).
Eleven minutes later, after another cross from the right, Demirovic played for Höler, who pushed into the empty goal (61.).
Once again Leverkusen had invested a lot in the game, but won the minimum income from it, if you don't want to say lost.
Up until the game against Freiburg, Leverkusen had only won one win from five defeats out of eight competitive games - most recently they failed miserably against Bern in the Europa League.
Bailey's subsequent goal shouldn't change the general mood in Leverkusen (70th), Bayer didn't succeed anymore.
