At the gymnastics association's board meeting held today (Tuesday) in Wingate, the contract extensions for Ayelet Sussman and Sergei Weisburg were approved until September 2028. This is part of the gymnastics association's preparations in cooperation with the Olympic Committee, ahead of the Olympic Games to be held in Los Angeles in 2028.

The new appointments will take effect immediately, so that Sussman Weisburg will serve in these positions from now on in preparation for Paris 2024 and at the same time, will begin preparing the gymnasts' reserve for the Los Angeles Olympics.

It was also confirmed at the board meeting that Moran Mesika, who was recently appointed CEO of the Athena Fund, will retire from her position as a board member and will be replaced by Orit Cooper.
