What was going on in the Erdinger football year 2021. We have summarized it.

A name that combines all the ups and downs of the football year 2021 in one?

We would be for Löwandowski.

One was responsible for the gates, the other for the follies.

But the great professional sport is much too high for us anyway, let's talk about district football.

That was already tricky enough, gave us a new currency unit (quotient rule) and made a footnote to an old saying:

Is the place decisive?

Not quite right anymore (the quotient rule again), but the really important things still happen on the lawn.

We summarize:

The decision at the green table

The pandemic is forcing the Bavarian Football Association (BFV) to finally end the 2019/21 season. In a vote, the majority of the clubs - in the Donau / Isar district it is even 77 percent - in favor of the BFV's proposal to create the table according to the quotient rule, according to which the points are placed in relation to the games played. The direct climbers are allowed to go up, the relegated have to go down. Relegation games will not be played. This is particularly bitter for the respective runners-up in the table: for example, for FC Lengdorf, which has the same quotient as FC Langengeisling in the district league, but scored one goal less in a direct duel. SC Moosen would also have liked to outstrip SV Walpertskirchen in the district class. Double bad luck for the DJK Ottenhofen, who missed the respective ascent with the first and second.

The high-flyer of the year

Just got promoted to the district league, it's already going back up in the elevator.

Wolfgang Lang regrets that the decision is not made on the football field.

"I think the whole of Schwaig would have exploded," said the football boss.

But he doesn't yet know which football festivals he will be allowed to celebrate from August.

After a bad start (two games, one point), the newcomer rocks the regional league, never stops winning and is in third place during the winter break.

The comeback of the year

FC Langengeisling has waited 31 years to return to the district league.

Some of the fathers of today's team were there when they said goodbye with a 1: 4 against SV Westerndorf.

With the same result, the sons now also lose.

But that doesn't hurt as much as the 1: 5 clap in the derby against FC Moosinning.

Nevertheless, the FCL is still before the relegation place - because it also has many highlights.

The wild district league aderbys

One of these highlights is the 3-2 win in the derby against TSV Dorfen, who came as the leader of the table.

After just half an hour, FCL leads 3-0.

The Dorfener, in turn, presented five goals within one half in the game against FC Moosinning.

The FCM in turn reciprocated for the clap, as mentioned above, at FC Langengeisling.

In addition, with a victory at the outstanding championship leader VfB Forstinning, he shows that he has not yet written off the promotion.

Unstoppable: Andreas Voglsammer (r.) Escaped Bayern player Buona Sarr and played the 3-1.

The self-confidence of the newcomers

The district class returnees SVE Berglern and TSV Isen keep up well in the new league.

Given the performance last year, that's no surprise.

Most joy, however, is SV Walperskirchen's assault, which scores 43 goals in 16 regional league games and hibernates in third place.

While table leaders FC Finsing - except for a slip against Kirchasch and Lengdorf - cruises confidently through the league, the SVW delivers a great spectacle: 6-0 in Kirchdorf, 7-0 and 6-1 against Moosburg, but also a 2-3 against Lengdorf, who gets three penalties and converts.

The new modesty

FC Erding is relegated from the district league and voluntarily goes down another league because it wants to make a new start with its own generation in the A-class.

Two players who would be significantly higher regular staff then decide for the A-Class.

But the ex-lion and Bayernliga kicker Samuel Kronthaler and Kosovo youth national player Leart Bilalli have been wearing the SpVgg Altenerding dress since this season.

The violets then shoot one district league after the next out of the cup and also lead the undisputed A-Class 7.

They only suffer a defeat against their old rival Türkgücü Erding.

The quotient bad luck of soccer women

Actually, the soccer women of FC Schwaig are far too strong for the district league.

But that's what SpVgg Attenkirchen is too.

And because only one team can be promoted, Manfred Buchhauser's team remains in said league.

This is where the relegated district league SG Lengdorf / Hörgersdorf and TSV St. Wolfgang are returning, who join forces at the end of the year to form a syndicate.

Things are going better in the higher leagues.

FC Langengeisling overwintered in the district league as well as at the top of the table, as did FC Forstern 2 in the BOL.

The regional league team of the FCF is fighting to stay in the regional league, leaving important points behind at the end of the year.

And what do our professionals do?

Andreas Voglsammer from Dorfen has some setbacks due to injuries, but when he is on the field it looks furious. Also thanks to his free kick goals. In the sensational 3: 3 by Arminia Bielefeld at Bayern, he placed the goal for a 3: 2 lead. Nevertheless, he will move to Union Berlin during the winter break, where he will also play internationally (and score a goal in the Conference Cup), and where Sebastian Bönig will continue to act as assistant coach. Stefan Lex from Eittingen has had an eventful year with the Löwen. In the last game of the season, the Sechzger missed by the defeat against FC Ingolstadt the chance of the promotion games in the direction of the 2nd division. But the 30-year-old is the decisive man in TSV 1860's greatest success in recent years. Lex scores the golden goal at 1:0 cup victory over FC Schalke 04, which is why the Sechzger are in a competition in which Löw and Lewandowski can only watch.
