Eliran Atar's father, David, passed away today (Saturday) after a long battle with a serious illness.
From a young age, when he was still a player in the Bnei Yehuda children's department, David accompanied his son to games and training.
Recently in Bnei Yehuda's game against Hapoel Afula he came to watch his son win a double and dedicated the goals to him.
"The Bnei Yehuda football club shares its grief and mourns the pain of Eliran Atar, over the death of his father, David, after a long and courageous struggle with a serious illness," reads the official statement from Bnei Yehuda, "Eliran loves you and is here for you."
