Continues with his truth.
Josh Caballo, the first active footballer to come out of the closet, responded today (Sunday) to the homophobic calls he allegedly received during his team game Adelaide United, against Melbourne Victory, in the Australian League.
"I do not intend to pretend that I did not see or hear the homophobic cries in the game last night," Kabalo wrote on his Instagram account.
"I have no words to say how disappointed I was. As a company, it shows that we are still dealing with these problems in 2022. It should not be acceptable and we need to do more to give these people an account. Hatred will never win."
Kabalo continued: "I will never apologize for living my truth. For all the young people who suffer from homophobic abuse, raise your head and keep chasing your dreams. Know that there is no place in the game for that. Football is a game for everyone, no matter who you are, what color your skin is. Yours and where you come from. "
