Eintracht Frankfurt has won the Europa League.
The international press comments on the final drama against Glasgow Rangers.
Seville - The fairy tale comes true!
Eintracht Frankfurt won the Europa League, the SBU prevailed in the most dramatic way possible on a magical night in Seville: the penalty shoot-out brought the decision, the Adler won against Glasgow Rangers in the end 6:5.
The game already had one or the other madness to offer during regular time: Captain Sebastian Rode had his head slashed open after five minutes, John Lundstram had caught him with the cleat after a risky entry.
Rode was bleeding profusely, but anyone who knows the midfield engine knew immediately: he won't let this finale go to him!
And so Turban-Rode continued to work, experienced Tuta's slip, which led to 0:1 through Joe Aribo (57th) and Rafael Santos Borré's response to a fantastic cross from Filip Kostic (69th).

The 1-1 lead went into extra time, where Kevin Trapp made a sensational save shortly before the end of regular time - and finally became the hero of the final on penalties when he saved against Aaron Ramsey.
At the SGE, all five shooters scored.
Then all the dams broke.
