Did not rest for a moment.

Maccabi Tel Aviv announced today (Friday) the signing of Josh Nibo for the year, which will become Oded Katash's ninth acquisition ahead of the 22/23 season.

The American chin (24, 2.06 m) joins the front line in the emerging roster of Oded Katash and, as we remember, knows Israel from his time in the ranks of Hapoel Eilat.

Last season he played in the Zalgiris Kaunas uniform in the Euroleague.

"I am excited to return to Israel and join Maccabi's special tradition," Josh Nibo told the club's official website after the signing.

"I will bring my investment and toughness to Tel Aviv. Let's win!"

"Josh Nibo is a great athlete and an excellent rebounder," noted coach Oded Katash. A player who improves from year to year and is on the way up. "

In July 2020, Nivu was signed by Hapoel Eilat.

He immediately displayed great ability in the ranks of the southern team with 13.6 points (67% for two), 10 rebounds (first in the league), 1.1 blocks (7 in the league) and 21.8 points efficiency index (7) on average per game.

He was selected four times to the top five and entered the second five of the season.

At the end of June 2021 and after an excellent season, Nibo was signed by Zalgiris Kaunas.

In his Euroleague debut season he started in 17 of 28 games in which he took part and contributed 8.8 points (65% for two, ranked 12th in the factory) and 6.2 rebounds (6th place) in 22:36 minutes on average per evening.

In the local arena he won the Lithuanian Cup and provided 7 points in 68% from the field, 5.1 rebounds and a block per game.
