The artistic gymnast Adi Katz was injured today (Monday) and she will not fly to the World Games.
The 18-year-old Katz, a bronze medalist from the European Championships and the reigning Israeli champion, will have to give up the upcoming competition that will open this weekend in Oregon in the United States.
However, she is expected to return to training and prepare for the World Championships in Sofia this summer, as well as defend her title at the Israeli Championships to be held as part of the Maccabiah.
The one who will take part in the World Games is the new European champion from Tel Aviv, Daria Atmanov.
