The Girondins de Bordeaux, whose administrative demotion to National (3rd div.) was confirmed on appeal on Tuesday by the federal DNCG, the policeman of French football, denounced an "
incomprehensible decision
" against which they will formulate "
an appeal
".

This unjust decision is unacceptable and incomprehensible (...) I will fight until the end and that is why we have decided to appeal against this unfair decision
", announced the owner of the club, Gérard Lopez, in a press release, without specifying with which jurisdiction the appeal would be made.

The Girondins, sportingly relegated from Ligue 1 to Ligue 2, then administratively in National, have the possibility of seizing the Olympic Committee (CNOSF) as well as administrative justice.
This Wednesday, Amélie Oudéa-Castéra, the Minister of Sports and the Olympic and Paralympic Games, wanted to deal with this situation.

But I would like to remind you that the State is not entitled to intervene in the processing of this file, which responds to a specific legal framework.

Amélie Oudéa-Castéra specifies that she will remain “
vigilant with respect to procedures, confident in the ability of sports bodies and in particular here of the Conference of Conciliators of the CSNOSF to allow conciliation, as soon as it is referred to it, as soon as possible.
This conciliation procedure is a prerequisite for any possible legal action before the administrative courts.
