The Israeli representatives in the Champions League are working to find a solution to the problem of the collision of the factory's first round games with Yom Kippur.
As you may recall, according to the dates published by the plant's management, the season will begin on October 4, Tuesday and Wednesday of the week, with the fast entering on Tuesday night and leaving on Wednesday night.
Representatives of Hapoel Jerusalem, Hapoel Holon and Bnei Herzliya have been in Switzerland for the past few days to draw the games and talked to the league leaders in order to find solutions.
Currently the emerging proposals are:
1. All Israelis will not play the first round together with the other teams and will complete the games in the time between rounds 2-3.
2. The Israelis will host the first round or will be hosted at nearby destinations and the games will be brought forward to Monday.
An extreme scenario is that the Israelis will play outside on Wednesday night, but this is an option only if both options do not materialize.
