The Azerbaijan national team defeated its Kazakh counterpart by three goals to none in the sixth and final round of Group C matches in the group stage of the European Nations League.
The winning goals for Azerbaijan were scored by Alexander Maroshkin's own goal in the 66th minute, and Philip Ozubych and Anatoly Norbiev added the second and third goals for Azerbaijan in the 74th and 90th minutes, respectively.
Despite the loss, the Kazakh national team remained at the top of the group with 13 points, 3 points ahead of its closest rival, the Azerbaijani team.
