Press conferences are just as good for Thomas Müller as the opposing penalty area.
He proves that once again at the Bayern training camp in Qatar.
Doha - He had to go back to Qatar.
Thomas Müller would certainly not have minded spending the winter training camp somewhere else, but contractual obligations forced him to return to the place where the World Cup failed after the holiday.

Thomas Müller wipes the DFB resignation off the table - and sees good signs for Bayern
But that doesn't dampen his mood.
A little over a month after the DFB debacle at the World Cup, he gave another lively press conference in Doha.
Full of renewed vigour, he announced: "The omens are very, very good for the second half of the season." With "carrot and stick" his Lisa got him back on track at home.
His implied DFB resignation?
Just an emotional reaction.
Müller wants to continue and be available to the national team "as long as I'm a professional footballer".
The relaxed press conference then became curious with a question from a ZDF journalist.
Thomas Müller was as talkative and communicative as usual at Bayern-PK.

Thomas Müller: "As a player, I concentrate on my core business"
He wanted to know how the Bayern star assessed the role of the DFB during the World Cup, especially with regard to the much-discussed issue of pads.
And whether the players would also have a say in the search for a coach or manager.
Irritated, Müller replies: “Looking for a trainer?
As a player, I concentrate on my core business.
Subsequent tickets at the level of association politics are not part of my activities now.
If you were to ask the players, we don't need the post
(of the DFB task force, editor's note)
.
That's cheese."

Thomas Müller engages in a battle of words with the ZDF reporter: "Strange question"
Then, with a mischievous grin, he goes on to counterattack: “That was a somewhat strange question.
Do you have a say in who runs the store at ZDF?
Yes?
Well, that's why it's going the way it's going," he remarks cheekily.
Then he has to laugh out loud at his own counterattack.
