For many years I have been fighting to put Israel on the world MMA stage.
I helped, produced and brought to Israel first class events, while giving Israeli fighters an international stage that could build their careers.
That is always my hope.
And yes, I also fight myself to set a personal example.
Unfortunately, despite a great desire on my part to hold an event with competitors from the Arab world together with us, I encountered a refusal from organizations in the world to come to Israel, due to the security situation or the BDS boycott.
How long will Israeli sports depend on factors outside the country, while athletes in the world are making progress, earning huge salaries and appearing in Hollywood movies?
With us, the fighters remain penniless and remain anonymous.
I took the experience and the path I went through in the fighting world and founded an Israeli brand, a brand that will promote the sport in Israel and hopefully be a home for young fighters from Israel and the world.
If we don't try to push the sport of martial arts forward, we will stay where we are.
On 9.3 I am launching the IWCC (Israel World Combat Championship), the event will take place in the Menorah Hall and will include fights from a variety of styles, from the sport of MMA, through classic boxing to traditional Thai boxing.
For dessert, for the first time in Israel, we will have a 'Bar Nekel' fight (boxing without paws), a sport that is conquering the world.

The best athletes from Israel will meet fighters from around the world in an evening where three championship fights will be presented: MMA, classic boxing and Thai boxing.
This is the first time that an Israeli organization will crown a world champion.
Of course, I tried to involve the Israeli government and the Ministry of Sports to support such a project, the profit of which is not even a joke and whose goal is to promote young people to values, sports life and excellence to strive for the best and against the strongest.
No matter which office I went to or which minister I talked to, everyone spoke positively but did nothing.
I realized that for the promotion of sports I need you citizens, those who are looking for a better future in the country.
We are the ones who can make dreams come true for the younger generation and give them hope for success.
All we have left to do is support sports so that more events and battles can happen here in our country and keep Israel on the world sports stage.
