Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra expected Game 3 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals to be the toughest for his team. He expected the Miami Heat to deliver their best game to beat the Boston Celtics again to give everything to stay alive. He was wrong.
Gabe Vincent scored a career-high 29 points, Duncan Robinson added 22 and eighth-ranked Miami defeated Boston 102-128 Sunday night. The Heat now lead the series 0-3, with a chance to end a stunning sweep at home in Game 4.

Caleb Martin scored 18, Jimmy Butler finished with 16, Bam Adebayo scored 13 and Max Strus added 10 for Miami. Every team in NBA history that won the first three best-of-seven games ended up winning the series.
Jayson Tatum scored 14 and Jaylen Brown added 12 for the second-ranked Celtics in the Eastern Conference during the regular season, the same team that won three times on Miami's court en route to last season's Eastern Conference Finals.
"We just weren't ready for the game," said Boston coach Joe Mazzola, who has been criticized in this series and will certainly face another after the painful loss. "Whatever it was, whether it's the quintet or the adjustments in the process, I need to get them to a better place. It's on me."
