For the first time in its history and almost 15 years after the Qatari takeover, Manchester City won the Champions League on Saturday.
One Rodri goal set up an aggressive and tough final against Inter Milan and gave Pep Guardiola a third career European trophy and first since 2011.
Jack Grealish was emotional at the end and tearful: "I've worked my whole life for this moment." Rodri also spoke and said: "I'm so excited, it's a dream come true. City fans have waited 20, 30 or 40 years for this. I've been here for four years. They deserve it, we deserve it. We were so close last year. When you reach those moments, God gives you a gift."
