The Ministry of Health of the Nation reported on Tuesday that 112 are newly infected with coronavirus. He also reported that 6 died in the last 24 hours.

The main age groups affected by the registered cases correspond to people between 20 and 59 years of age, the average age being 44 years.

This afternoon the minister, Ginés González García, maintained that the peak of cases in Argentina could occur in June and in a "flat" way, but that it will depend on the May stage.

"First they started talking about April, then our technicians began to say May; as we have managed the epidemic, the peak will be very small and later than is believed," the official said in radio statements.

And he added: "Now they are talking about June; what happens in June will depend on what we do in May, in that sense there is no accurate forecast ."

González García had already confirmed on Monday night that after April 27 the quarantine will be opened in some areas of the country. "The quarantine will continue, only with different characteristics," said the official.

"We are going to start by geography, chatting with each one of the jurisdictions of the provinces, by epidemiological level. What will happen in each jurisdiction will not be the same ," said the minister of the health area.
