The Minister of Health of the Nation, Ginés González García , had considered last night that the peak of coronavirus cases in Argentina could occur in June and in a "flat" way, but that it would depend on the stage in May.

"First we started talking about April, then our technicians began to say May; as we have managed the epidemic, the peak is going to be very small and later than you think, " he said.

González García had already confirmed on Monday night that after April 27 the quarantine will be opened in some areas of the country. "The quarantine will continue, only with different characteristics," said the official.

"We are going to start by geography, chatting with each of the jurisdictions of the provinces, by epidemiological level. What will happen in each jurisdiction will not be the same," said the minister of the health area.
