Tossed the head upside down and in all directions several meters above the ground by a kite. A three-year-old girl caused a cold sweat in the crowd at the Hsinchu International Festival (Taiwan). As spectators prepared to witness a giant kite throw, strong winds hit its tail and it became tangled around the child's waist. Carried away in the air, the latter remained in flight for several long seconds.
The festival-goers then got scared and started to scream until the child regained the ground, caught safely by several spectators. The 3-year-old did not suffer any serious injuries after the incident, except for a few bruises and small lacerations.
The Hsinchu City International Kite Festival has been suspended until the ongoing investigation reveals the circumstances of the crash.
