Emmanuel Macron announced this Wednesday evening a new confinement which will apply throughout the territory until December 1, in order to cope with the very significant rebound of the Covid-19 epidemic.
May vacationers who have left for these All Saints holidays rest assured: it will always be possible to go home until Sunday evening, marking the end of the school holidays.
The start of the school year is in fact scheduled for Monday, November 2 at the national level and the schools will remain open.
"There will be tolerance during this weekend of returns so that everyone can return from their vacation spot, so that families can organize themselves," Emmanuel Macron said on Wednesday evening.
It will thus be possible to "move from one region to another", which will then no longer be possible to do in the following weeks.
Travel declaration
Because as from March 17 to May 11, leaving your home will only be possible in certain cases.
In addition to a medical appointment or a trip to his place of work, these exemptions apply to “assisting a loved one”, doing “essential shopping” or taking the air near his home ”.
In all cases, it will be necessary to bring a correctly completed travel certificate, as is already the case from 9 p.m. in the 54 departments under curfew since last Saturday.
