As the deadline for deconfinement - or the announcement of its postponement - approaches, the figures for the epidemic in France are being scrutinized from all sides.
Recently, the Director General of Health, Jérôme Salomon, particularly deplored that the number of new Covid-19 contaminations no longer seemed to decrease.
This trend is confirmed on Wednesday, with 14,595 new contaminations counted by Public Health France in its new assessment, against 13,713 on Tuesday.
The test positivity rate is 6.4%, the same as Tuesday, after a change in calculation method.
