Fneish and Kanaan: Good relations with Syria are in Lebanon's interest

Lebanese Minister of Youth and Sports Mohammad Fneish stressed the need to continue direct dialogue and coordination between Syria and Lebanon.

Fneish called in a statement today to take advantage of the reopening of the Albukamal crossing and other crossings in Syria in order to export Lebanese products, which is directly in the interest of Lebanon.

For his part, Secretary of the "Strong Lebanon" bloc Lebanese MP Ibrahim Kanaan stressed that direct dialogue and coordination with Syria is a Lebanese national interest.

Kanaan said in a statement today: "We want good relations with Syria because of the interest of Lebanon."

On the other hand, Kanaan pointed out that the Turkish aggression on Syrian territory is a flagrant attack on the sovereignty of this brotherly country and a violation of international laws.
