Surprise in the mayoral election in Berglern: incumbent Simon Oberhofer will not run for free voters. Heinz Grundner (CSU) is running for a third term in Dorfen. He did not have to fear competition within the party. The incumbent mayor receives non-partisan competition from the SPD. Mayor election 2020: City of Erding

New edition of the OB duel from 2014: For the second time, Petra Bauernfeind (FW) challenges incumbent Max Gotz (CSU). Both had been nominated unanimously. For Erding Jetzt, the hotelier Thomas Schmidbauer enters the race, but has no experience of the city council. Hans Wiesmaier has been involved in the municipal council since 1990 and has been the mayor for 23 years. The 58-year-old farmer from Großhündlbach, member of the CSU and father of four children, holds countless positions. Local election 2020: Markt Isen

There were only three left. After Oliver Schmid (CSU) surprisingly withdrew his candidacy for personal reasons, Florian Geiger (40) from the Greens, Irmgard Hibler (46) from the Free Voters and Isener SPD Chair Albert Zimmerer (57) want the outgoing Mayor Siegfried Inherit Fischer (FW). There are already four candidates in Langenpreising. Local election 2020: Markt Wartenberg

In no municipality has there been so much choice for the elections on March 15, 2020 as in the Wartenberg market. Their parties have already sent six candidates into the race.
