Britain recorded an additional 563 deaths from the coronavirus on Wednesday, a jump of 31% in 24 hours, the government announced on Wednesday.

Tuesday at 5 p.m. (local), the total number of deaths was 2,352 in the country, against 1,789 the day before. The number of contamination cases reached 29,474 Wednesday at 9 a.m., compared to 25,150 Tuesday (+ 17%).
