Alberto Fernández decided to refloat the Social Pact.
After a package of measures to try to "tame" the dollar and
reactivate the economy
, the president called a multilateral meeting with businessmen and trade unionists.
The summit, scheduled for 5 pm this Monday, is within the framework of what the Government calls
"the recovery agenda
.
"
They divide it into two axes: production and work, two words that Fernández repeats on his tours and events.
As
Clarín
learned
, the invitation was extended to the Argentine Industrial Union (UIA), the Chambers of Construction and Commerce, the CGT and the CTA and, in addition, the CTEP, the central of the "popular economy" that encompasses social movements.
Alberto Fernández, when he was shown with businessmen on July 9, from the Quinta de Olivos.
The
meeting will be in Casa Rosada
, specifically in the Women's Room, the same place where last week the Minister of Economy Martín Guzmán announced a package of economic measures.
The call was accelerated at this time and the meeting, according to the original format,
will be led by the Chief of Staff
Santiago Cafiero
along with the
officials that make up the economic cabinet
, among them Guzmán, Matías Kulfas (Productive Development), Mercedes Marcó del Pont (AFIP), Miguel Pesce (BCRA) and, among others, the Deputy Chief of Staff Cecilia Todesca.
As Fernández is scheduled to be at Casa Rosada on Monday,
it is not ruled out that he will appear at the meeting
with businessmen and union and social leaders,
Gerardo Martínez, José Luis Lingeri, Héctor Daer, Antonio Caló, Carlos Acuña and Andrés Rodríguez, at a meeting of the CGT at the end of September
The President decided over the weekend
to put the agenda of the Social Pact again
- it would imply, at a minimum, an agreement on prices and wages - on the table, a dynamic that began to stir 15 days ago and that had several episodes in which Fernández he multiplied his meetings with business, political and union sectors.
Along these lines, days ago it agreed that it will participate, remotely, in the IDEA Colloquium.
Likewise, this week he will have a videoconference with the US Chamber of Commerce, an event that is being finalized by the ambassador in Washington, Jorge Argüello.
In parallel, during the presentation of the package of measures last week, the ministers made a gesture that they had not had until now with the business world:
they anticipated, in private, the announcements
before their diffusion and invited them to the presentation in Pink House.
