A man was found dead this Sunday in Grenoble (Isère), after a person found his body on the ground shortly after 6 a.m., according to information from France Bleu.
The 29-year-old individual was shot three times in the hip, shoulder blades and back of the neck.
When the firefighters arrived, he was in apparent death. His death was confirmed by the Smur doctor.
He was known to the police for drug trafficking. The police favor the track of settling scores, still according to local radio.
The 29-year-old man had been followed by the enforcement services since March, as part of his parole.
Several shootings in recent weeks
According to the elements transmitted by the prosecution, he was domiciled in the Harlequin district and was leaving a bakery when he was targeted.
The investigation is entrusted to the Grenoble branch of the judicial police. An autopsy will be performed on Monday.
