Byron is a young Honduran who throughout his life has fought sickle cell anemia. A hard life living with a little known and poorly understood disease. His most recent hope is one of thousands of clinical trials conducted at the National Institutes of Health of the United States, the NIJ, for its acronym in English; and more specifically in building number 10, where for the first time these tests are performed on humans.
