[Reuters, Washington 18]-President Trump nominated President Robert O'Brien's special envoy to deal with hostage issues at the Department of State on behalf of Bolton's former assistant advocate (security officer).

The presidential assistant in charge of national security in the Trump administration has repeatedly changed, and if he takes office, Mr. O'Brien will be the fourth person.

In May last year he was appointed presidential envoy to deal with hostage issues.

President Trump said in a post on Twitter, “He has worked with Robert for a long time. He will do a good job!”

The Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Gram (Republican) said that Mr. O'Brien is skilled in negotiating and will be a very solid aide, and expressed his thoughts on evaluating the personnel.
