The Director General of the Arab Center for the Studies of Arid Zones and Dry Lands (ACSAD), Dr. Rafik Ali Saleh, discussed with the delegation of the Russian Kuban Agricultural University the means of enhancing cooperation between the two sides, especially in the fields of scientific agricultural research.
The two sides dealt with a number of issues of common concern, including methods and methods of increasing wheat production through the generation of drought-resistant and diseases and high-productivity strains as well as the latest scientific methods and methods in combating desertification, studies on soil and modern technologies in irrigation, optimal investment of water resources and research in the development of livestock.
It was agreed to conduct training courses and exchange of expert visits between the two sides, and a scientific and technical agreement was signed between the center and the university.
