This is an unmanned combat system “Saratnik” introduced by Russian weapons maker Kalashnikov at a defense equipment trade show in Moscow near June. A turret equipped with a camera and a small unmanned combat vehicle “Uran-9” were also exhibited at the venue.
Artificial intelligence (AI) is used in this system, and it attacks by judging whether it is an enemy or a friend, a refugee or a terrorist. It is expected to be used while moving with manned units.
