Mr. Jerusalem, Palestine and Islamic unity are the core issues for Syria

Minister of Awqaf Dr. Mohammad Abdul Sattar Al-Sayyed stressed that Jerusalem, Palestine and Islamic unity are the main issues for Syria, pointing out that the Palestinian issue is not only for Palestinians but all Islamic countries.

Sayyed stressed in a speech today during the opening of the 33rd International Islamic Unity Conference in Tehran that the war waged by the Syrian Arab Army in cooperation with allies against terrorism has foiled US Zionist plans prepared for the region.

Sayyed affirmed that Syria is determined to defeat terrorism once and for all and expel the Turkish invaders and occupiers from its territory. More than 88 countries that have conspired against them and brought all kinds of terrorism from IS to Jabhat al-Nusra will triumph over terrorism thanks to the sacrifices and heroics of the Syrian Arab Army.

The 33rd International Islamic Unity Conference kicked off in Tehran today with the participation of delegations from 93 countries and discussed the challenges facing the Islamic world and the pivotal issues of its countries, especially the Palestinian issue.
