Government of Bolivia grants safe conduct to Evo Morales' daughter to receive asylum in Mexico

The interim government of Bolivia authorized a safe conduct to Evaliz Morales, daughter of former president of Evo Morales, in order to receive asylum in Mexico.

(CNN Spanish) - The interim government of Bolivia authorized a safe conduct to Evaliz Morales, daughter of former president of Evo Morales, in order to receive asylum in Mexico.

Through her Twitter account, the interim president of Bolivia, Jeanine Áñez, said she decided to grant the safe-conduct to Morales 'daughter "in the understanding that Morales' family is not guilty of his father's actions and that his government seeks the pacification of the country ”.

We have decided to grant a safe conduct to Evaliz Morales, to receive asylum in Mexico, on the understanding that the family is not guilty of the actions of his father. We are a government that seeks to pacify our nation.

The Foreign Ministry also granted a safe-conduct to the indigenous assemblywoman María Inosenta Poñe Poichee.

Evaliz Morales and Poñe are isolated in the Mexican embassy in Bolivia.
