BEIRUT, Lebanon (AP) - Lebanon's General Security Agency (GSS) on Monday stopped a network smuggling people and wanted people from Lebanon to Syria. Tide reported

The Lebanese General Security today stopped a network of smuggling people and wanted persons from Lebanon to Syria.

The Directorate General of Public Security in a statement that "within the framework of the follow-up activities of people smuggling networks arrested the Directorate General of Lebanese and Syrians on charges of creating a network to smuggle people and wanted from Lebanon to Syria for a fee from various areas in Beirut to the north to smuggle them to Syria" .

The statement pointed out that investigations are still ongoing with the accused under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
