The branch of the Syrian Trading Establishment in As-Suwayda has rented about 10 tons of citrus from Lattakia province and started putting it today in the city halls and the circle and a number of mobile cars.
The director of the branch of the Foundation Hussein Safi in a statement to SANA correspondent today to the availability of citrus at discounted prices on the market, ranging from 1 kg per orange to 100 pounds and 175 pounds and lemon between 300 and 375 pounds depending on the type.
Safi pointed out that mobile cars will be launched tomorrow to the countryside of As-Suwayda governorate with the continuation of additional quantities during the coming period of citrus to reflect the positive intervention of the institution in the market.
The branch of the Syrian Foundation for Trade yesterday put 24 tons of sugar at the price of 230 pounds per kilogram.
